iEnergizer Declares Maiden Interim Payout As Trading Goes Well

Wed, 13th Nov 2019 10:56

(Alliance News) - Business process outsourcing firm iEnergizer Ltd reported a "successful" first half on Wednesday, with revenue and profit both rising.

Pretax profit for the six months to September increased by 19% to USD25.0 million, with revenue climbing 13% to USD96.2 million. Service revenue was up 16% to USD95.2 million.

iEnergizer, which is headquartered in Guernsey, is paying an interim dividend of 5.2 pence per share, from nothing the year before.

The company said service revenue growth came from the addition of new clients, increased billable work volumes, as well as further partnerships with existing customers.

"This has been another successful period for iEnergizer across each division, despite structural challenges in some business areas. The continuation of profitable growth has been driven by our colleagues' continued efforts in deepening existing customer relationships and attracting new customers via iEnergizer's compelling and evolving proposition, coupled with careful cost management," said Chair Marc Vassanelli.

"As a result, we are pleased to announce an interim dividend of 5.2p, for the first time.

"We benefit from a solid foundation, and with continued strong operational execution, the development of new sales initiatives and differentiated offerings, underpinned by a healthy balance sheet and substantial growth opportunities, we expect sustained business performance through the second half of the year. The board looks forward to the remainder of the year with confidence," Vassanelli continued.

iEnergizer shares were 3.5% lower on Wednesday morning in London at a price of 260.66p each.
