LONDON (Alliance News) - iEnergizer Ltd said Friday it will ask shareholders to approve a change in its name to Aptara Ltd at its annual general meeting on August 15.
The company plans to change its name following its acquisition of Aptara Inc in 2012, in order to reflect its expanded offering and expertise. It wants to operate under a single brand and name.
"The new name reflects future growth opportunities and is synonymous in the industry as an enabler of digital strategies," the company said in a statement.
Shares in iEnergizer were trading up 5.7% at 74.00 pence Friday morning.
