(Alliance News) - i3 Energy PLC said Thursday that following its 2019 drilling campaign at its Serenity and Liberator fields, in Block 13/23d in the North Sea, it is now preparing for a mid-2020 appraisal programme.
The oil and gas company said the aim of the appraisal programme is to delineate the fields which the company believes could contain more than 600 million barrels of crude oil.
i3 Energy also said it is simultaneously conducting a farm-down process of its licenses to potentially fund the 2020 drilling campaign.
i3 Energy shares closed up 6.6% in London at 13.06 pence each on Thursday.
