LONDON, July 5 (Reuters) - British banks have reportedstrong capital and liquidity in the aftermath of the vote toleave the European Union, finance minister George Osborne saidon Tuesday after meeting with the heads of major banks andbuilding societies.
"They report back that capital is strong, liquidity isstrong, and we've got to make sure that lending is available tobusinesses... and they've assured me that it will be," Osbornetold ITN. (Reporting by Andy Bruce, editing by Kate Holton)
