(Alliance News) - Investment firm Gabelli Value Plus Trust PLC on Tuesday said Non-Executive Director & Chair Jonathan Davie retires with immediate effect.
"The board would like to thank him for his valued contribution, wise counsel and commitment and wish him well for the future," Gabelli Value Plus Trust said in its statement Tuesday.
The investment company said it appointed Peter Dicks as Davie's replacement and an independent non-executive director, also with immediate effect.
Dicks was a founder & director of Abingworth PLC, which between 1973 and 1992 was making venture capital investments in the US and the UK. He is currently chair of SVM UK Emerging Fund PLC, a director of Unicorn AIM VCT PLC, Foresight Solar Fund Ltd, and Miton UK MicroCap Trust PLC.
Gabelli Value Plus Trust shares were untraded in London on Tuesday, last closing at 132.00 pence each.
