DIRECTOR DEALINGS SUMMARY: Gateley Holdings Directors Sell Shares

LONDON (Alliance News) - The following is a summary of director dealings reported in London on Tuesday.

Gateley (Holdings) said the former partners of Gateley LLP have sold around 5.8 million shares to both new and existing shareholders at a price of 111 pence each on Friday, worth about GBP6.4 million.

As part of the transaction a group of directors and executives also sold shares at the same price. The shares were placed by the company's broker, Cantor Fitzgerald Europe.

The share sales were conducted as part of lock-up arrangements allowing the directors to sell up to 10% of their shareholdings, a year after admission to trading.

The commercial law firm listed on AIM last May.

Chief Executive Officer Michael Ward sold 328,900 shares, reducing his shareholding to 3.0 million shares, or a 2.77% stake. The sale is worth GBP365,079.

Chief Operating Officer Peter Davies sold 300,000 shares and now holds 3.0 million shares, or a 2.8% stake. The sale is worth GBP333,000.

The company also said Finance Director Neil Smith bought 25,298 shares at the same price, increasing his interest to 500,000 shares.

In addition a group of executive directors also sold shares. This includes Brendan McGeever who sold 320,000 shares, Paul Hayward who sold 328,000 shares, Roderick Waldie who sold 197,340 shares and Callum Nuttall who sold 289,907 shares.

Katie Chester and George Parker-Fuller, members of the company's Operations board, sold 20,286 shares and 21,097 shares respectively.

"I'm delighted to welcome new institutional shareholders on to the register and am equally pleased with internal demand from employees recognising the evolution and significant opportunities available to the business," said Gately Chairman Nigel Payne.

The stock closed down 0.2% at 112.75p Tuesday.

Motorpoint Group said Non-Executive Director Mary McNamara bought 35,000 shares at a price of 140.13 pence per share last Friday.

Following this transaction, McNamara now holds 65,500 shares.

Previously Motorpoint had said three other directors also had bought shares on Friday. Chairman Mark Morris bought 260,000 shares, Chief Executive Mark Carpenter bought 520,000 shares and Non-Executive Director David Shelton acquired 520,000, all at 138 pence per share,

Shares in the vehicle retailer closed down 0.5% at 141.50p Tuesday.

Card Factory said Chief Executive Officer Karen Hubbard bought 7,207 shares at an average price of 270.8 pence per share last Thursday. After the purchase, Hubbard's beneficial interest is 39,404 shares. Shares in the greeting cards retailer closed down 1.1% at 260.00p Tuesday.

IQE said Chairman Godfrey Ainsworth sold a total of 119,958 shares at an average price of 30.36 pence per share Monday. Following this transaction, Ainsworth holds 3.2 million shares, or a 0.47% stake. IQE shares closed down 0.8% at 30.25p Tuesday.

Advanced Oncotherapy said Non-Executive Director David Evans sold a total of 136,296 shares at an average price of 121 pence per share between August 19 to September 16. As a result of the sale, Evans holds no interest in the company. Shares in the radiotherapy systems provider closed down 3.6% at 105.05p Tuesday.

Oakley Capital Investments said Non-Executive Director Peter Dubens bought 1.2 million shares at an average price of 138.4 pence per share Tuesday and Monday. The purchase is Dubens's only holding. The stock closed up 4.6% at 145.36p Tuesday.

CVS Group said Non-Executive Director Mike McCollum bought a total of 27,355 shares at an average price of 875.434 pence per share last Friday and Monday. Following this transaction, McCollum holds 77,355 shares. The stock closed up 0.4% at 881.77p Tuesday.

Sky said Non-Executive Director Adine Grate bought 20,200 shares at a price of 816 pence per share Monday. Following this transaction, Grate now holds 29,394 shares in the pay-TV company. The stock closed down 0.6% at 806.62p Tuesday.

NMC Health said Marion Bomford, the spouse of Senior Independent Director Jonathan Bomford, on Monday purchased 3,000 shares at a price of 1499.14 pence per share. Following this transaction, Jonathan Bomford has an interest in 15,000 shares in the healthcare services provider. The stock closed down 0.4% at 1,473.74p Tuesday.
