DIRECTOR DEALINGS SUMMARY: Balfour Beatty Chairman Buys Shares

Wed, 26th Aug 2015 16:16

LONDON (Alliance News) - The following is a summary of director dealings reported in London on Wednesday.
----------
Balfour Beatty said Chairman Philip Aiken bought 5,000 shares at a price of 262 pence per share. Following this transaction, Aiken holds 10,000 shares.

Earlier this month, the construction and support services group scrapped its interim dividend as it posted a substantially wider pretax loss for the first half of 2015 thanks to writedowns of onerous contracts in its UK construction arm. The company said its pretax loss for the six months to the end of June was GBP150 million, sharply wider than the GBP58 million loss it posted a year earlier. As a result of the drop in profit, the company said it won't pay an interim dividend, having paid 5.6 pence per share a year earlier.

The stock closed down 0.7% at 260.93p Wednesday.
----------
Sage Group said Chief Executive Officer Stephen Kelly bought 20,000 shares at a price of 496.50 pence per share. His total shareholding was undisclosed. Shares in the software company closed down 1.7% at 495.00p Wednesday.

----------
Pub operator Greene King said Chief Financial Officer Kirk Davis bought 4,000 shares at a price of 821 pence per share on Monday which is his only holding.
