LONDON (Alliance News) - Galasys PLC Wednesday said it has secured two new contracts to provide its e-ticketing platform and membership module in China with a combined value of GBP505,000.

The service and product provider to the theme park industry in Asia said it has won the contracts with Zhejiang Shurong Travel Cultural Co Ltd, which operates the Yandang Mountains in the south east of Zhejiang province in eastern China, and with the Aerospace theme park in Hebei province.

Under the contract with Zhejiang Shurong, Galasys will provide its e-ticketing platform and membership module with a total contract value of CNY2.86 million, which equates to around GBP295,000.

The other contract with the Aerospace theme park will see Galasys provide the same services in an contract worth CNY2.0 million, equating to around GBP210,000.

"We are delighted with these new contract wins, which mark another feather in the cap of Galasys and again demonstrates the quality of our products and services. We look forward to attracting more new and reputable businesses in China and South East Asia region while increasing sales with our existing customers," said Chief Executive Sean Seah.

Galasys shares were up 6.5% to 30.34 pence per share on Wednesday morning.
