OSLO, Dec 13 (Reuters) - Norwegian oil firm DNO
confirmed on Friday that Iraq's Kurdistan Regional Government
(KRG) has delayed payments for its oil exports in August and
September but said it expected to be paid in January.
DNO's statement to Reuters echoed similar statements by
London-listed oil producers Genel and Gulf Keystone
Petroleum the previous day.
DNO had said payments for August and September, part of
production-sharing contracts with the KRG, were to be paid in
November and December.
There were also delays to payments previously.
In 2018, DNO received a net $628.5 million from the KRG for
oil exports from the Tawke licence. DNO holds 75% of the licence
and Genel holds the remaining 25%. It includes two producing
fields, Tawke and Peshkabir.
They had a gross output of 120,000 barrels of oil equivalent
per day in the third quarter.
