LONDON (Alliance News) - Software firm Gresham Computing PLC said Friday a general meeting for shareholders to approve its proposal to change the name of the business to Gresham Technologies PLC will be held on November 17.
The proposed name change follows Gresham Computing's acquisition of C24 Technologies Ltd for up to GBP4.55 million in cash earlier this month. C24 is a financial markets software company based in the UK, with a number of financial sector clients in the UK, Europe, North America and Japan.
Shares in Gresham Computing were down 0.9% at 113.00 pence on Friday afternoon.
