Galliford says the dispute concerns three contracts with entities owned by "a major infrastructure fund". It says it intends to return a substantial proportion of the settlement to shareholders, while retaining some to invest in growth. The form and amount of any further returns is yet to be decided. Expects to take a one-off, non-cash write-off of about GBP3 million in financial 2023 as a result of the settlement.
