Magazine publisher Future's first quarter revenues were little changed as growth in commercial revenues compensated for pressure in circulation.Digital advertising revenues were up 25%, more than compensating for a 10% decline in print advertising revenue. Publishing revenues rose by 18%. "We expect the trading environment to remain challenging throughout 2011, but our progress online and in customer publishing - our main growth areas - and in our tablet and mobile development - is pleasing," said chief executive Stevie Spring. Ortac Resources has raised £8.4m gross through a placing of 561m new shares at 1.5p. The money will be mainly used to advance the development of the Kremnica Gold Project in Slovakia. Chairman Anthony Balme acquired 3.33m shares in the placing. Cash shell Consolidated General Minerals had cash of $21.1m at the end of 2010, down from $22m at the half-year stage. It made a pre-tax loss of $0.93m in the six months ended 31 December 2010, compared to a profit of $3.08m the year before.The company's shares have been suspended on AIM since the end of September and the company's listing will be cancelled if the company is unable to complete an acquisition by 31st March 2011.Mining firm Stratex International has discovered epithermal gold mineralisation at its Asal exclusive exploration licence (EEL) located on the south-west side of Lake Asal in the Republic of Djibouti. Fantasy and science fiction miniatures war gaming company Games Workshop has extended its six-year licensing agreement with US media company Warner Bros. , giving the British company exclusive, worldwide, all-language rights to produce tabletop games based on "The Hobbit" and "The Lord of the Rings" properties.Under the agreement, Games Workshop will continue to develop and increase its offerings from Middle-earth, the literary creation of Professor JRR Tolkien.Shares in Nostra Terra jumped more than 10% after the oil firm announced that the Agnello #1 well in the Vintage Hills Prospect in Brazos County, Texas has been drilled to a total vertical depth of 10,400 feet.Nostra Terra has a 1.2% working interest in Vintage Hills.
