Future Metals NL - Australia-focused platinum group metals explorer - Says it completed over 6,000 meters of its diamond core drilling programme at its wholly-owned Panton platinum group metals project.

Also receives results from the initial eight metallurgical holes drilled as samples for flotation optimisation and variability test work. Says the assay results for a further 52 exploration drill holes, including 19 holes recently drilled and 33 historical holes that were not previously sampled are still pending.

Confirms that its review of historical drilling data showed the potential for platinum group metals nickel mine mineralisation.

Adds that it will incorporate the new results into an updated mineral resource estimation that will encompass shallow, bulk platinum group metals-nickel mine mineralisation of up to 20 to 40 metres in thickness.

Notes appointment of Jardee Kininmonth as chief executive officer. Explains that he is an experienced corporate finance and mining professional, who was previously corporate development manager at Galaxy Resources Ltd.
