DIRECTOR DEALINGS SUMMARY: New Easyhotel Chief Buys 50,000 Shares

LONDON (Alliance News) - The following is a summary of director dealings reported in London on Friday.

Easyhotel said new Chief Executive Officer Guy Parsons bought 50,000 shares at a price of 67 pence per share Thursday, his only holding in the company. He became the budget hotel operator's chief executive on August 10 after being appointed to the role at the end of July.

Parsons is a former chief executive of hotel chain Travelodge, and prior to that spent time working for Whitbread, the owner of Premier Inn, and for French hotel group Accor SA. He replaces Simon Champion, who is leaving to "pursue other interests", easyHotel said.

Easyhotel is backed by the billionaire founder of easyJet PLC, Stelios Haji-Ioannou.

The stock closed up 3.7% at 70.00p Friday.

Xaar said Chief Executive Officer Doug Edwards bought 12,432 shares at a price of 479.02 pence per share Thursday, more than doubling his holding. Following this transaction Edwards holds 21,724 shares. The company also said Chief Human Resources Officer Jim Brault bought 721 shares at the same price which is his only holdings. Shares in the inkjet printer maker closed up 2.4% at 501.50p Friday.

Jupiter Fund Management said Non-Executive Director Jonathon Bond bought 5,682 shares at a price of 439.97 pence per share. Following this transaction, Bond now holds 11,910 shares. Shares in the investment manager closed up 0.2% at 440.00p Friday.

Thomas Cook Group said Chairman Frank Meysman bought 50,000 shares at a price of GBP1.0597 each Thursday. Following this transaction, Meysman holds 470,000 shares, which represents 0.031% stake in the firm. Shares in the travel agent closed flat at 106.68 pence Friday.

Mining royalties firm Anglo Pacific Group said Non-Executive Director Patrick Meier bought 17,200 shares at a price of 85 pence per share Thursday. Following this transaction, Meier and his connected persons now have 92,200 shares, representing 0.05% of the issued share capital. The stock closed up 0.9% at 85.75p Friday.

IG Group Holdings said Chairman Andy Green bought 6,881 shares at a price of 722.97 pence per share Thursday. His total shareholding was undisclosed. Shares in the spread betting and contracts-for-difference company closed down 0.8% at 722.58p Friday.

Capital Drilling Limited said Chairman Jamie Phillip Boyton 75,000 common shares at price of 20.5 pence per common share Thursday. His total shareholding was undisclosed. Shares in the Singapore-based drilling services company closed up 6.8% at 21.90p Friday.

Red24 said Non-Executive Director Lorraine Adlam bought 25,000 shares at a price of 26.3 pence per share Thursday. Following this transaction, Adlam's notifiable interest stands at 75,000 shares representing 0.15% of the issued share capital. Shares in the crisis management assistance company were down 4.7% at 25.25p Friday.
