UK EXECUTIVE CHANGE SUMMARY: McBride Hires Former AA Exec As New CFO

(Alliance News) - The following is a round-up of London-listed company director and manager changes announced on Friday and not separately reported by Alliance News:

McBride PLC - Manchester-based contract-manufactured and private-label products for domestic household and professional cleaning and hygiene markets - Hires Mark Strickland, former finance director of AA PLC, as chief financial officer, joining the board on January 4. Clive Jennings will continue as interim CFO until then, handing over during January.

Electrocomponents PLC - London-based distributor of industrial and electronic products - Bertrand Bodson will step down as non-executive director on May 31 next year after six years on the board. Karen Guerra will step down on December 31, while Rona Fairhead will become chair in February, both as previously announced.

3i Group PLC - London-based investor in mid-market private equity and infrastructure - Peter Grosch steps down as non-executive director on December 31, after five years on the board.

Beazley PLC - London-based specialist insurance - Appoints Pierre-Olivier Desaulle as non-executive director, starting January 1. Desaulle is the former chief executive officer of Hiscox Europe, part of insurer Hiscox Ltd. He has been a non-executive director of subsidiary Beazley Insurance DAC since November 2017.

Goodwin PLC - engineer based in Stoke-on-Trent - Steven Birks, general manager of Goodwin Steel Castings Ltd, retires on Friday, after 52 years with the company and the last eight as a director on the board. Promotes Nigel Brown to executive director, having working for 34 years at Goodwin International.

Ocean Outdoor Ltd - London-based digital advertising firm - Hires Tad Smith Jr as independent non-executive director. Smith was CEO of art auctioneers Sotheby's and before that CEO of Madison Square Garden Co, owner of the sports venue in New York. Also promotes Ocean Chief Operating Officer & CFO Stephen Joseph to executive director. Both join the board on December 31.
