LONDON (Alliance News) - GCP Student Living PLC on Monday said it launched a placing of shares at a price of 162.50 pence each.
The real estate investment trust, focused on student accommodation, said the placing is expected to close on May 30 and investors desiring to participate should notify the company.
GCP Student Living shares were trading up 0.1% at 160.55p on Monday morning.
GCP believes the placing will provide several benefits to the company, including the possibility of acquiring London student accommodation assets, which will substantially increase the company's earnings and portfolio value.
The shares are expected to be admitted to trading on June 4.
