LONDON (Alliance News) - D4T4 Solutions PLC on Thursday expressed confidence for the year ahead after profit in its recently ended financial year exceeded market expectations.
The computer support and services provider said it has been focused on increasing its emphasis on data collection and data management over the last four years.
As a result, revenue for the year ended March 31 is expected to come in at GBP25 million with profit slightly ahead of market expectations. In its financial 2018, D4T4 reported revenue of GBP20.1 million, meaning the company expects a 24% increase year-on-year.
The performance was driven by Data platforms unit, which saw strong demand in the market for D4T4 hybrid analytics cloud solutions and Celebrus software products.
Looking ahead, the company said it enters the new financial year in robust shape, and it is encouraged by the opportunities and outlook over the coming year.
"Our strategy continues to deliver and is reflected in our strong overall growth," said Chief Executive Peter Kear.
"Consequently, as a board, we are confident of delivering results in line with expectations for the financial year ending March 2020."
D4T4 shares were trading 2.3% lower on Thursday at 271.50 pence each.
