(Alliance News) - The following stocks are the leading risers and fallers among London Main Market small-caps on Friday.

SMALL-CAP - WINNERS

TClarke PLC, up 1.6% at 149.28 pence, 12-month range 106.00p-177.50p. The stock adds to its weekly gain, now up 14%. The engineering services firm on Wednesday said trading in the early months of 2023 has continued to be strong, and it remains "highly confident" that revenue will exceed GBP500 million for the first time. Revenue in 2022 amounted to GBP426.0 million.

SMALL-CAP - LOSERS

US Solar Fund PLC, down 12% at USD0.70, 12-month range USD0.70-USD0.89. The company ends its formal sales process, saying it received no suitable proposals. The investment firm, focused on solar power assets in North America, had announced a strategic review in October. US Solar Fund says it received a possible all-share offer, which it rejected as it was at a significant discount to its last reported net asset value.

Eurocell PLC, down 13% at 111.25p, 12-month range 108.00p-218.00p. Shares hit this 12-month low on Friday. The window, door and roofline PVC products firm says sales in the four months ended April are down 2% year-on-year "compared to a very strong equivalent period". It says it continued to be hurt by cost inflation, particularly for electricity. "PVC resin prices have fallen back slightly this year, but remain volatile, and feedstock prices for our recycling plants remain significantly higher than the comparative period in 2022. We have continued to offset input cost inflation with selling price increases and surcharges. However, lower volumes and resin prices are driving increasingly competitive markets for our products, resulting in margin pressure," Eurocell says.
