AIM WINNERS & LOSERS: Trakm8 falls on profit warning

Fri, 22nd Mar 2024 10:17

(Alliance News) - The following stocks are the leading risers and fallers on AIM in London on Friday.

----------

AIM - WINNERS

----------

Symphony Environmental Technologies PLC, up 40% at 2.95 pence, 12-month range 2.00p-10.00p. The manufacturer of biodegradable plastic products raises GBP1.4 million through a subscription of 39.1 million shares. Also launches a PrimaryBid offer for a further GBP500,000. Symphony says net proceeds of the fundraise will strengthen the company's current balance sheet and provide the necessary working capital to fund its scale up.

----------

AIM - LOSERS

----------

Trakm8 Holdings PLC, down 29% at 9.90p, 12-month range 7.09p-20.80p. The global telematics and data insight provider provides trading update for current financial year, ending March 31. For financial 2024, Trakm8 now believes turnover will be GBP16.4 million, resulting in an adjusted pretax loss of GBP1.4 million. In financial 2023, revenue came in at GBP20.2 million and adjusted pretax profit of GBP1.2 million. "While the combination of the delay in securing the contract and the weaker-than expected trading during February and March 2024 is disappointing, discussions in relation to the contract are ongoing. While there can be no certainty as to the conclusion of these discussions, the group expects to benefit from any revenues generated from this potential contract in the financial year ending 31 March 2025," Trakm8 says.

----------

Cap-XX Ltd, down 29% at 0.12p, 12-month 0.058p-2.90p. Cap-XX makes supercapacitors for portable electronic devices. It says it has raised GBP2.0 million through a placing of 2.00 billion shares priced at 0.1p each.
