(Sharecast News) - Codemasters updated the market on the launch of Fast & Furious Crossroads - the intellectual property game that is being developed by the recently-acquired Slightly Mad Studios - on Friday.
The AIM-traded firm said the title was originally scheduled for release in May.

It said on Friday that, following "close consultation" with its partners at Bandai Namco Entertainment Europe and Universal Games and Digital Platforms, an agreement has been reached to launch the game in the second quarter of its current financial year.

That period is the three months to 30 September.

"Accordingly, the board of Codemasters confirms that this later launch date is not expected to have a material impact on its financial expectations for 2021," the board said in its statement.

At 1607 BST, shares in Codemasters were down 0.48% at 311p.
