Computacenter PLC - Hatfield, England-based computer services provider - Hires Pauline Campbell as independent non-executive director, starting on August 16. Meanwhile, Minnow Powell will retire from the board on September 30. Campbell recently retired as an audit partner at PricewaterhouseCoopers.

Virgin Money UK PLC - Newcastle-upon-Tyne, England-based lender - Confirms Tim Wade as senior independent director, from Wednesday. Wade was named interim senior independent director back in May of last year upon David Bennett's promotion to chair from deputy chair. Wade has been on the Virgin Money UK board since September 2016.

Zambeef Products PLC - Lusaka, Zambia-based producer of beef, chicken, pork and other foods - Margaret Kunda Chalwe-Mudenda, Enala Lyson Tembo-Mwase and John Rabb step down as non-executive directors, effective immediately. They are replaced by Katebe Monica Musonda, Pearson Gowero and Roman Frenkel. Musonda is chief executive officer & founder of Java Foods, a Zambian food processing firm. Gowero is chief executive of Delta Corporation Ltd, a beverages company in Zimbabwe. Frenkel is director of Direct Private Equity, focused on Food & Agriculture, at CDC Group PLC. The Zambeef board now has nine members, including Chair Michael Mundashi, CEO Walter Roodt and Chief Financial Officer Faith Mukutu.

Geiger Counter Ltd - invests in companies involved in the exploration, development and production of uranium for the nuclear power industry - Richard Lockwood resigns as non-executive director, effective from Tuesday. Lockwood has been a director since 2011.
