LONDON (Alliance News) - Crusader Resources Ltd said Monday it has appointed a Brazilian firm to help it complete and review the final documentation for its Borborema gold project installation licence application.
Crusader has hired Ausenco do Brasil Engenharia Ltda to help with the process, and it said Ausenco will help it present an "attractive and cost effective" solution for the licence. Ausenco will focus on the metallurgical processing plant's design as well as mine layout and design.
Ausenco, Crusader continued, has experience working with major international miners in Brazil especially.
Once an installation licence is granted, Crusader will be able to start engineering work at Borborema, and it is the last bit of permitting needed to get going. It hopes to get the licence during the fourth quarter of 2018.
Managing Director Marcus Engelbrecht said: "Progress with key work-streams on the Borborema bankable feasibility study continues at pace and with the addition of an experienced, international engineering firm of Ausenco's stature, Crusader is very well placed to attain the final outstanding permit for the project.
"Together with the support from IDEMA and the local government for the project, the company is making good progress."
Shares were 1.5% higher on Monday at a price of 1.68 pence each.
