ST PETERSBURG, Russia, June 17 (Reuters) - The chiefexecutive of Russian oil producer Surgutneftegaz,Vladimir Bogdanov, has no plans to buy Rosneft shares,the head of Rosneft was quoted as saying on Wednesday.
"Bogdanov has no plans to buy Rosneft shares," Igor Sechinwas quoted as saying by Interfax news agency.
Sechin also said it was hard to give a timeframe for whenthe state planned to sell another portion of Rosneft's shares.BP owns around 20 percent of Rosneft.
Sechin added that Rosneft planned to relaunch a gasfractionation unit at its Siberian Achinsk oil refinery in 2017,after it was damaged by a fire. (Reporting by Vladimir Soldatin; writing by Katya Golubkova,editing by Elizabeth Piper)
