HOUSTON, Aug 5 (Reuters) - BP Plc continued torestart the reformer and the blending oil unit on Friday at its413,500-barrel-per-day (bpd) Whiting, Indiana, refinery, sourcesfamiliar with the plant's operations said.
Wastewater sediment discharges from the refinery into LakeMichigan continued to be under permitted levels for a second dayon Friday, the sources said. The shutdown of the reformer andthe blending oil unit along with the malfunctioning wastewaterplant forced BP to cut refinery production by up to 25 percentthis week.
