LONDON, March 19 (Reuters) - BP said the forcemajeure it declared on Angola's Saturno crude oil will lastabout eight days from when it was declared on March 16.
The oil company declared force majeure after a power loss atthe PSVM oil project's floating production, storage andoffloading (FPSO) vessel off Angola on Sunday.
The PSVM development consists of the Plutao, Saturno, Venusand Marte fields and is operated by BP. Crude from the fields isknown as Saturno by traders.
Thus far there are no cargoes of Saturno as part of Angola'sMay exports, which emerged this week. In April the stream wasscheduled to pump 158,000 barrels per day (bpd), equating to 9.5percent of total exports of 1.67 million bpd. (Reporting By Libby George; Editing by David Goodman)
