BAKU, Sept 7 (Reuters) - Azeri oil exports through theBaku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan (BTC) pipeline via Georgia and Turkeytotalled 20 million tonnes in January-August, up 4.1 percentfrom the same period in 2015, state energy company SOCAR said onWednesday.
Oil exports through the BTC rose 1.15 percent in 2015 to28.84 million tonnes.
Azerbaijan exports oil via the pipeline from the Azeri,Chirag and Guneshli (ACG) oil fields operated by BP.
It also exports oil via Russia, through theBaku-Novorossiisk pipeline and via Georgia by rail and throughthe Baku-Supsa pipeline.
Oil from Kazakhstan and Turkmenistan is also exportedthrough the BTC. (Reporting by Nailia Bagirova; Writing by Margarita Antidze;Editing by Susan Thomas)
