LONDON (Alliance News) - Africa-focused oil and gas company Bowleven PLC on Wednesday said it has started drilling on the Moambe exploration well at the Bomono permit in Cameroon.
Moambe is the second of a two-well drill programme and is located two kilometres east of the first well, Zingana. The well will be drilled to a target depth of around 1,620 metres.
At Zingana, further petrophysical evaluation is ongoing, and the well has been suspended to enable future re-entry and testing.
Shares in Bowleven were up 1.0% to 24.25 pence.
