Blue Star Capital PLC - investment company with a focus on esports, payments, technology and its applications within media and gaming - Says Brian Rowbotham appointed to board as non-executive director after outgoing Chief Executive Tony Fabrizi steps down from board. Chair Derek Lew takes over as CEO.
Lew says: "We would like to thank Tony for his years of service to the company. Under Tony's stewardship, the company has invested in a number of exciting early stage, disruptive technology businesses including payment tech businesses SatoshiPay and Sthaler and, more recently, our move into eSports investments. We look forward to continuing to build on this momentum and wish Tony the very best with his future endeavours."
Rowbotham qualified as a chartered accountant and holds a number of other board positions including on the board of London-listed Rurelec PLC.
