LONDON (Alliance News) - Billing Services Group Ltd on Friday said it has made its first payment under the settlement reached with the US Federal Trade Commission in May.
In May, the company reached a settlement to pay a total of USD5.2 million for customer redress in ten equal quarterly instalments, among other commitments. The settlement related to a business Billing Services has not been involved with since 2012, the company said at the time.
On Friday, Billing Services said it has made the first USD520,000 payment.
