LONDON (Alliance News) - The Baillie Gifford Japan Trust PLC Thursday said it issued 100,000 new shares at a price of 469.00 pence per share to meet demand in the market.
Before expenses, the trust would have raised around GBP469,000 according to an Alliance News calculation. The trust said the issue price was at a premium to the prevailing net asset value.
Baillie Gifford Japan shares were down 0.2% to 470.12 pence per share on Thursday afternoon.
