March 19 (Reuters) - France's Haute Autorite de Sante (HAS)
health regulator formally approved on Friday the AstraZeneca
COVID-19 vaccine, in a move that was widely expected
after the European Union's EMA drug regulator had also expressed
its support for the vaccine.
"Given the data given by the EMA, it is the HAS' belief that
vaccination with the AstraZeneca vaccine can resume
immediately," said the French regulator in a statement.
