Aureus Mining has agreed to a fundraising to support exploration activities within the company's Bea Mountain Mining License in Liberia.The miner has agreed with underwriters GMP Securities L.P., Clarus Securities Inc., RBC Europe Limited and Numis Securities to sell 30,900,000 common shares at 32p at share to raise £9.9m.Proceeds will be used for work including follow-up drilling campaigns at Weaju and Ndablama gold targets in the Beau Mountain license.Aureus has granted the underwriters an over-allotment option to purchase up to 4,635,000 shares at the offer price. If this option is exercised in full, the total gross proceeds of the offering will be about £11.4m.Shares were unchanged at 32.50p at 15:40 on Thursday.RD
