LONDON (Alliance News) - Arc Minerals Ltd on Wednesday said it has mobilised drill rigs following "exciting results" its drilling programme at one of its exploration targets at Zamsort in Zambia.
The company said that geochemical and geophysical studies have identified 12 significant regional targets. It added that additional geochemistry work is underway with results expected "soon".
"I am very encouraged by the results of our extensive work over the property that we have completed over the past few months," Chair Nick von Schirnding said.
"It confirms that we have a wide range of exciting and high priority targets, any of which could be company makers on their own, indeed ongoing exploration by majors in this region of Zambia supports the potential for major new tier 1 discoveries."
Arc Minerals shares were trading up 4.0% at 2.60 pence.
