Agronomics Ltd - investment firm which principally invests in the biotechnology and biopharmaceutical sector - Says portfolio company Shiok Meats Ltd, a cell-based clean meat company, has completed a USD12.6 million financing, led by Aqua-Spark Cooperatieve UA. Says Shiok Meats will use this additional funding to progress its research & development and establish its first pilot production facility in Singapore, with the intention to have its first cultivated shrimp products on the market in Singapore in 2022.
