Qinetiq Group PLC - defence, security and infrastructure - Adds Shonaid Jemmett-Page to board as independent non-executive director from Tuesday. Jemmett-Page replaces Paul Murry, who steps down at July 14 annual general meeting after 10 years. Jemmett-Page is non-executive chair of Greencoat UK Wind PLC and a non-executive director of Caledonia Investments PLC, both UK listed. Previously she was chief operating officer of CDC Group PLC, the UK government's development finance institution and prior to CDC was with Unilever PLC in a senior finance role.

Alpha FX Group PLC - currency risk management and payments - Hires James Carey as director of technology, with immediate effect. Carey was head of technology at Betfair and was responsible for Betfair Exchange, a sports betting exchange. Betfair is part of Paddy Power Betfair, which is in turn owned by FTSE 100-listed Flutter Entertainment PLC.

River & Mercantile Group PLC - investment management - Says Simon Wilson has joined as chief financial officer and director. Wilson's appointment was announced late last year. Wilson joins from Topland Group PLC, a UK private investment group, where he also was finance chief.

Schroder Asian Total Return Investment Co PLC - investment trust - David Brief retires as chair at AGM held Tuesday after 12 years at the company. Sarah MacAulay becomes new chair.

International Biotechnology Trust PLC - investment trust - Hires Kate Cornish-Bowden and Patrick Magee as non-executive directors. Cornish-Bowden is currently a director of London listings Finsbury Growth & Income Trust PLC, Schroder Oriental Income Fund Ltd, CC Japan Income & Growth Trust PLC and Calculus VCT PLC. She was with Morgan Stanley Investment Management for 12 years and before that with M&G Investment Management. Magee is chief commercial officer of British Business Bank PLC and previously was with JP Morgan Cazenove.
