IN BRIEF: AA Shareholders Green Light GBP219 Million Takeover

AA PLC - roadside assistance firm - Shareholders vote in favour of AA's takeover by a consortium comprising funds advised by TowerBrook Capital Partners UK LLP and funds managed by Warburg Pincus LLC.

AA back in November agreed to the takeover offer, which values the company at GBP219 million. The deal is expected to complete in the first quarter of 2021.

Current stock price: 34.40 pence

Year-to-date change: up 2.1%
