7Digital signs support contract with Jazzed

(Sharecast News) - Digital music solutions provider 7Digital has signed a deal to support Jazzed with launching globally in new geographies.
7Digital said on Monday that its initial 12-month contract with Jazzed had the genre-specific streaming service using its API and platform to fuel its roll-out into a range of other territories, allowing users to stream music from the group's extensive catalogue of jazz tracks.

The deal will include on-demand access to over 5.0m music tracks in HD lossless audio, with the AIM-listed company receiving a monthly licensing fee and usage-based payments, in line with usual commercial terms and other recent new contracts.

7Digital's deal with Jazzed, the world's first dedicated audio-visual streaming service for jazz and jazz-influenced music, follows recent contracts with Triller and a six-month contract with an unnamed technology outfit.

As of 0940 BST, 7Digital shares had shot up 10.44% to 3.45p.
