Pilot Mining and Land Rehabilitation Program commenced at Kasiya (Rutile-Graphite Project) in Malawi

- Excavating 150,000 cubic meters

- From a test pit of 120m by 110m, 20m deep

- Using dry & Hydraulic techniques

- Across a 9.9-hectare test site including stockpiles, laydown areas and infrastructure

Primary Objectives:

- Optimise mining methods through empirical data

- Scale-up existing in-country processing capacity

- Optimise tailings management

- Provide bulk samples for graphite qualification

- Design land rehabilitation schemes for backfill and revegetation
