Uruguay and Trinidad focused Challenger Energy (CEG) updated the market on its Uruguayan assets having submitted the AREA OFF-1 geotechnical reports to ANCAP, the Uruguayan regulator.
The Submission marked the completion of the minimum work programme for the first exploration period of the AREA OFF-1 licence.
In addition, four other offshore exploration licenses in Uruguay were executed at a signing ceremony in Montevideo on 12th December.
The licenses were awarded to Shell, YPF and APA Corporation.
