London South East were delighted to be joined at our Natural Resources webinar last night (23.05.23) by Anthony Viljoen, CEO at Andrada Mining (ATM).

Andrada is a London-listed (AIM: ATM) battery metals mining company with a portfolio of mining and exploration assets in Namibia – with a Market Cap currently of £90 Million pounds. The company have just announced two things – they have produced their first commercial lithium concentrate as part of their off-site Pilot Test Programme – and also that debt funding will be signed off by the Development Bank of Namibia at the end of the month, ready for drawdown in June 2023.

They are in discussions about offtake agreements and the 'pilot plant' circuit for commercial production to begin has almost been built. The plant will be commissioned in June, be ready for the ramp up of production in July and will be be revenue enhancing.

Andrada are currently producing tin from Uis, and see tin as a stable cash cow. Lithium production is where the growth comes from, and there are other Lithium deposits at Lithium Ridge and Spodumene Hill. "This could be compared with other global lithium deposits" said Anthony.

There are an incredible lack of Lithium projects coming on stream so ours has attracted a multitude of different interested parties from every continent. "We have brought in Barclays, a world class investment bank partner to advise and structure the most efficient strategic partnership for the company going forwards."
