Saving in an ISA is a far better option than a pension for these poor souls.
Current male life expectancy is lowest in Blackpool, at 67.5, while it is 68.7 in parts of Bradford and 70.2 in much of Manchester. Tower Hamlets in London’s East End has a male life expectancy of 69.1.

What those who sell pensions fail to tell you.!!
KEY DATA: MORTALITY
Statistics on mortality
?Compiled by Men’s Health Forum, December 2014. Revised January 2017.
SUMMARY
The mortality rates in England and Wales for males were 1,156.4 deaths per 100,000 population and for females 863.8 deaths per 100,000.
In the UK one man in five (19%) dies before the age of 65.

So for 19% males all the pension payments never benefit them personally.
By the age of 70 that number has increased very substantial.

Interesting to watch the large fund managers pile out of Tec stocks in the USA, after they reach ridiculous valuations.
Investors pensions will be directly effected as prices slump.
Yet again, these so called professionals, spent the last few years paying top dollars for future earnings, that are non existent.
My personal view is to buy cash rich companies , who pay dividends and are growing super fast.
However, I don’t want to pay 45 times earnings for them.
TRD trades on a rolling PE of half the sector average .
Directors keep buying.

Pensioners relying on the state for income in retirement are suffering like mad as real inflation gets a hold.

The worlds first Free to trade NTF platform is about to grab massive market share ,in my personal option.
It’s run by TRD”S enterprise partner Stratis.
It has two features that make it super attractive
1/ Total all in costs inc trading and minting under 10 cents.
2/ Direct payments with Visa card and Apple Pay.
The last two features will go live within weeks possibly days.

Inflation is getting out of control, those pensioners that have income from an annuity, that’s not index linked, will be suffering.

Free hour with Pension wise.
All over the box this week.
First thing they need to tell consumers is , : it’s highly unlikely the average person will receive a decent pension by regular saving for 50 years.

Markets looking a tad sticky, hence you want a stock that’s unaffected, by events.
Stratis , TRD”S partner is just about ready to take on ETH ( Blockchain), and I believe win.
For starters transaction costs are around 99% cheaper.
Go have a look at ETH the worlds largest blockchain platform.

Shares to own in rough markets.
This weeks events have shown that in jittery markets, that could last for years, one needs quality companies that can outperform on growth.
The higher and faster the better.
All shares will suffer from selling, debt will be a killer, profit warnings are already increasing.
To attract buyers the stock you own has to be exceptional.

A cool £4B of U.K. Government contracts due to be announced this week, within the IT computer sector.
If TRD has made the cut, (In the top 50 of companies that meet the criteria), then it could be fun.

Inflation 8%

TRD finished its financial year this week.
If profits in the 2nd half just match the first, then they will have more than doubled, the previous year.@ 120%.
Since as far as I can see no forecasts exist the market the shares might react favourable.
Growth is required that is faster than the average of 25% /.
If the company can achieve that 3 years in a row, the stock will not be trading at todays valuation .
Shares are not rock science.

Annuities that are not index linked will unfortunately, see pensioners living on a great deal less, as inflation takes hold.

The state pension will rise by 3.1% today, but the increase is just half of inflation, the measure of the soaring cost of living.
The state pension and government benefits will both rise from today, but inflation, which is 6.2% could hit a 40-year high of 8.7% in the fourth quarter of 2022, according to the Office for Budget Responsibility (OBR).

Dustbin 101. Enjoyed reading through your thoughts regards rewarding investments. A lot of the information that you mention can only be gleaned from the latest financial reports of the companies. With the pandemic it appears that a lot of the companies have delayed reporting and there are other factors that have had impacts such as the goverment furloughs that were provided to them and the obvious changes in trading patterns and working from home practices, staff isolation etc? Seeing if a company fits your criteria and is cash generative and growing from the reports that are presently being produced that cover the pandemic period makes the investment decisions all the harder when applying your criteria listing.

Agreed.
Buy any stock cheap enough, with a cash pile for safety, and at least your doing all you can.

This is why you should target a million pound pension pot.
A typical private pension pot could run out after just 10 years, assuming someone aged 65 has an average pension pot of £135,000 and draws out £11,000 in annual income, according to analysis from Interactive Investor, the stockbroker.

Apple is projecting growth of just 7%, and is on a PE of 23. Triad is growing at 67% and on a PE well under 23, yielding 4.7%.
One company is huge, the other tiny. My experience tells me small is beautiful. Growth is far easier from a low starting base level.

Good news
Therese Coffey has committed to the pensions triple lock being honoured for the remainder of the Parliament.
The work and pensions secretary made the commitment during a Labour backbench business debate on the impact of the cost of living crisis on pensioners.
The announcement comes less than 48 hours before Chancellor Rishi Sunak is due to reveal his spring statement to MPs in the Commons.

The real winners in the pension game have always been those that previously worked for the state.
They are 100% inflation proofed, unlike others that have a maximum of 5% , 2.5% or zero.
