Profits and Pampering!

I have had a nice week; both in Shares and life in general. In terms of money from Shares, I haven’t made a huge amount, but I have made a profit and also seen some things rise on paper. Gulf Keystone Petroleum (TIDM code: GKP) - Well, what can I say? This went from a paper loss to selling out with a 51% profit. Not a huge amount of money invested, but I can assure you the euphoria was just as good when watching that line go straight up. I would like to buy back in, but shall wait and see how much of a re-trace (if any) there is. Emed Mining (TIDM code: EMED) - I have been in this since 9p, watched it fall to under 4p and back up, and this week it is now sitting at 14.25p. Now, this is one that was recommended to me at the end of last year, expectations being that with Mine approval it could reach 30p+. I only put a tiny amount of money in it, but figured if predictions were correct then I would have a nice return. The thing was, if I put a large amount in I would have probably sold out when it was dropping…an interesting lesson there. Caledon Resources (TIDM code: CDN) - Bought in then got jittery and sold some, then sold some more taking a small loss, and then bought some more (A girls prerogative to change her mind!). Well, this week it was finally on the move with the expectation that the bid is very close. So, all-in-all, a good week. Life in general; I had a lovely relaxing day at Cameron House Day Spa and I’m heading out tonight for a girlie night to enjoy some food and wine. No point in doing this (Share trading) if we can’t enjoy little treats from time to time.
