If they are going to do a buy back be nice if they could do this in the next week or two to give people enough time to reinvest in a VCT before the end of the tax year. If they wait until next year investors will only get a 20% rather than 30% tax break... Time is ticking.

I have no objection to a tender offer and am clearly not impressed by Amati. What is crazy is Amati making private investments. It literally makes no sense.

If you read the rns properly you will see that the board are looking at the best way to return cash to existing shareholders who feel like you do.

They are focussing on a possible tender offer and plan to continue share buy backs so I really fail to see why you do not think that this is great news as Tyma says, it surely suits people like you who want out or others, like me, who would prefer not to have a jumble sale out of the AIM shares currently held in the vct especially as the market will know who is slling what & why ?
