Confirmation of 1.5p dividend for Q1 great news. That's a great uplift on last years base dividend.

As expected. Nice to see 6p dividend target this year reiterated. Great yield at current price.

Krustysmegma, the problem would be that the bank account from where cheques would be drawn does not have the cash present! Part of the point of the merger was that it required no cash outlay, and it would save on transaction costs versus buying properties individually. It also allowed CREI holders to benefit from assets at discount.

Nothing to stop CREI opening the chequebook & approaching API with an offer for the assets it actually wanted, and they avoid getting lumbered with the stuff they would have disposed of anyway. More chance of doing a deal than SHED have, that's for sure!

At least with a bid there might be a premium to the market price, so reducing any losses.
