Craigy. Imagine if there is a massive gap up tomorrow morning .!! With all the news expected i would not be surprised :)
You know what that means! It means that in six - nine months time we will have to come back down here to revisit the gap. lol
I don't know what you SUPER believers worry about really, you truly believe its going to be a one horse race, it can only go up - so best thing to do is put the shares away and forget about them and come back in five years time and collect your winnings. SIMPLE. everyone knows its that simple really...it the others who complicate things by asking silly questions.
Leave it to the rest of us lost souls to do all the worrying . What is it you all say, sit back, Chill.
I’m able to see the positives. 3500 would obviously be better, but what the company has achieved over the last few months is in my view quite remarkable. Rolling out in the us, uk launch, acquisition or chill domain etc. You seem difficult to please and only see the negatives. All IMO. I have no concerns with my investment here.
In the middle of a pandemic, you only have to see the impact businesses have in this country since April the states is very similar. I'm very impressed with 2500 high footfall stores.
The company set the target, they announced the target and have not inferred at anytime over past six months that the target of 3,500 outlets would not be met, that is up until today. Your easily pleased.
If, say, started to build a house in April, then in May said I was adding an extra couple of rooms would you expect it to be finished by June? They were rolling out to 2,000 in April but did they say it’s be complete by the end of the month. Not as I recall. So inJune and July they continued rolling out to stores, not rocket science. Rome wasn’t built in a day and all that.
The update is quite clear...
"In April 2021, the Group received orders for its 'Chill' brand totalling US$0.34 million from a number of previously announced distribution partners in the United States rolling out 'Chill' to over 2,000 stores. Up to 14 May 2021, the Group had received additional orders in excess of US$1.0 million for its 'Chill' brand and has continued to increase the roll out of 'Chill' into stores operated by the previously announced distribution partners."
Therefore we know for a fact that ..
In April 21 Chill was being distributed into 2,000 stores. It has taken then four months to introduce another 500 stores.
In May 21 they continues to increase the rollout into stores . Therefore, we can assume that's the last 500 stores supplied.
They also state in May "Following receipt of the orders outlined above, the Group is trading profitably".
What have they been doing during June and July with no stores added to the rollout !!
Yet on 1st July 21 we are informed by a Business Update that "Sales to the Company's US distributor for a further US$0.72 million for 'Chill' brand CBD smokes and chews to facilitate re-orders and the continued roll out of the products."
What rollout! We have already hit the 2,500 stores in May 21.
There are two months of potential store rollouts equalling around 1,000 stores not accounted for.....?
This we learnt today.
Maybe someone needs the money now.
A protected transaction occurs when a large order is going through the market. The buyer (or seller) may wish to keep the order anonymous from the rest of the market as the size of the order could greatly alter the price of the stock. With a protected transaction, the dealer will put the trade through in small quantities rather than knock the whole order out in one hit. The entire transaction is reported once the deal is completed. The LSE is notified at the start and at the end of the transaction. However, the market as a whole isn't told until the end, thus the order is protected.
apols other post..pass !!!
Its a bit of a long shot and hard to imagine but maybe someone didn't like the RNS and sold.
The expansion is set to accelerate in the coming months and the Group looks forward to updating the market accordingly
all those are showing as single prot trans..I would guess same person/ company selling...2 trans tranches at same times, or more off book shennanigans.
This is LSE...we are bottom of the food chain !!!
Mr Kipper...check the timings and sizes...rollover trades poss. not one by itself would trigger a TR1...keep eye out for them popping up tomorrow poss..
good luck bud.
Certainly not buys!
Could be roll-overs though for tax planning etc but as all are at exactly 40p I think unlikely. Normally the MM would want a profit via small spread. Unless mates rates?
Truth is we will never know.
Gallini,
Just seen the 4m sells at 40p.
That explains my query.
I retract my question regarding a possible placing.
BB2.
Eg 15:26:38 sale at 42.1p….if you don’t think the 4m late-reported sales at 40p are sales
Gallini,
I cannot see any such sells, where are you looking to see them, please?
BB2
5.3mil.....
Cranleigh............you may well have inadvertantly saved BBs massive holding from a stoploss trigger !!
There seems to be a fair amount of trades reported late in the day lately, I would not be surprised to see other trades from today show up fri or monday !!
Hopefully that was the bottom, bounce tomoz....
Unf due to high winds, no fishy fred today, apols for hogging the board ! no rod out tomoz by looks of forecast either : (
475000 buy just came on @44.50
Fun and games again MMs
4m shares sold at 40p just showed up on LSE, late-reported from mid-morning and mid-afternoon. Probably I got some of those?
I don't think a placing is likely; we are trading profitably and probably cash-positive, that will be increasing as the rollout continues, and the placing earlier this summer was way oversubscribed but the company stuck to its target of raising £6m.
Cause there were sells lower than 42.9p
Any sensible people here that can just explain why an 11% fall. No BS. The update sounded positive enough.
I assuming a big rise tomorrow after a big fall, shorters getting out and profit taking. No probs as in for the long haul. what are the facts, seems a lot about sticky hands...... probably not something to discuss on this forum, what ever you are talking about.
Cranleigh,
Nice buy at 42.9p.
However, no shares have been sold today at lower that this price so how do the MMs allow you to buy at that price ?
I really hate to mention the "P" word, but I do need to ask if there could be a placing here at around the 40p mark ??? I know everyone will shout "no" but what explanation is there for several buys today at 43p and now 42.9p and yet no sells lower that these buy prices.
Please can someone provide an explanation.
BB2.
glad to hear it !! \0/
