Morning Vas,
Up early to do the gardening before going to a England Euro garden party.
Fully agree re the smoking alternative route. In fact, I had a lengthy chat with my neighbours son (age early 20s) who smokes. Wants to stop but can’t. Discussed Chill in detail and he has asked if I can get him a packet as he says it is something that he (and also his mates who all smoke) woukd definitely try. His dad was listening in and wants to buy some shares in ZOE!
In hindsight, it is a shame that the UK roll out was not done before the Euros. With some some “football parties” it would be a great opportunity to sample Chill and pass them around for others to try.
Remember, keep looking and watch out for that packet of nuts being thrown to the squirrels.

Hi Billy,
Its really interesting feedback - so thanks.
That's bizarre pricing. I wonder if they are trying different strategies during the roll out...but $3 a pack will be a give away price for Zoe, and $3 to shop.....loyalty building strategy maybe, i don't know - see how many come back and buy at higher price. I'm guessing here, but must be part of a a sales strategy that being tested. Sell at $3, sell at $6, and again at $10 - see how that effects daily sales.
I seem to recall Fevertree not only had a good product, but also had very little competition in hotels and bars, then supermarkets, even though they were a premium brand, so did not sell on being cheap.
There are so many ways to get your daily fix of CBD today, that I hope they go towards the smoking alternative route.....from the link I posted earlier more cigarettes are sold via c stores than all the other shops combined. Just need to catch those guilt ridden smokers, who are trying to give up ( but want to continue to smoke ) as they enter a c store and see this healthier smoking alternative. They will think, i can give up smoking but continue to smoke!! ...im an ex smoker and that's how i would have felt., still do actually.
I'm not sure if CHILL package branding explains this.....at present the product is aimed more of a lifestyle choice..i.e be cool, and chill. Cheers Vas
Vas,
One other thing before the footy starts again. One store that i have spoken to have told me they are now selling the pouches at a retail price of $6 and were previously selling them discounted at $3. This confused me as I thought the general price was $10 retail with ZOE getting $5 with a margin currently 30% but hoping to be nearer 50%. All the other studies seemed to be selling at about $10 both smokes and pouches.

Evening Vas,
Not sure other than time really. Obviously proper advertising costs lots of money, lots more than ZOE have presently. Thinking back to Fevertree, I personally cannot remember much advertising. They just had a good brand and a good strap line (most of your G&T is the tonic, do make it a good one). However, must remember Fevertree had been launched approx ten (?) years before listing and really getting going.
One thing. In my research so have spoken to quite a few SF staff. Some of them have been very willing to chat but when I think about it they seem talk about the CBD (the potential benefits) rather than the smoking cessation side of things. Obviously CBD is massive in the States (my friend tells me there are ten CBD stores in his small town), just wondering if the messsge re smoking cessation is really getting out there?

Thanks for your feedback regarding stores contacted. Appreciated. As you say early days, yet what do you think Zoe will need to do to get the CHILL brand out of the shops and into peoples lives....what I mean is when a customer visits an outlet and asks for product rather than randomly, choosing it from the display stand in the hope they enjoy it, and repeat the experience.
Obviously the latter could be a strategy, but one with a very long time line and also passes control / risk over to the outlets hoping they put time and energy behind product.......ideally, be good to have both, and the demand also coming from the customer, demanding the their local outlets sell the product..... I do believe that once its proven that a high % of AATAC outlets can make money from CHILL, the other 50,000 or so outlets with different distribution partners will demand it also.
All convenience stores regardless of distributor want the latest big selling brands.
Tobler,
Your ramp says.....
New product cool logo they’ll be selling like hot cakes and the million re order after 6 weeks is all you need to know.
My further research last night showed that
Store 80013 are generally selling 1-2 per day, occasionally 4-5.
Store 80466 generally selling 2 per week
Store 80226 generally selling 20 per month.
So yes, Chill is definitely in SF stores, confirmed.
Yes, Chill is selling in these stores, confirmed.
However, according to my research, Chill is not selling “like hot cakes”. Personally, I understand that It is very early days and I personally am not expecting Chill to be “flying off the shelves”. That is the exact reason that I remain cautious and am willing to be patient and certainly not expect too much too soon as regards sales. I would hope to see a further order of minimum $1m -$1.5m for the period 15th May to 30th June. Hopefully, over time sales will increase and also sales will become resales in an increasing number of stores. However, I personally think the multi £ by year end talk is complete nonsense.
On a separate note, it would be good to see photos of what other (AATAC) stores are stocking Chill. I have seen the odd smoke shop and garden centre but most of the photos seen are of SF stores. It would be really good should one of the big national gas stations such as 7 Eleven (they were mentioned as being an AATAC “partner” in the RNS) be evidenced as stocking Chill.
I wish you good luck with your investment in ZOE. I think we could both do well, but my timescale for success is obviously longer than yours.

Debate thread started by trolls!!!???? LMFAO!!
TR, turn the white noise to Green peace and let them to their barking at the moon. Whatever you or anyone says they appear to argue against ... they have their own agenda.
Just looking forward to the regular sales with store opening updates.
It does show 100,s as all you have to do is check google maps and search for smoker friendly shops a look one at a time at all the shops and the photos and there are display units and stickers in windows visible everywhere.
I won’t be engaging anymore with you as I don’t believe your invested I don’t believe your genuine and frankly I wouldn’t P!zz on you in you were on fire.
Your a fraud a counterfeit a busted flush
Tobler,
If you read my post correctly. It says your link showed SEVERAL stores. Which it did. Your link did NOT show 100’s of stores!!!!!!!
You are obviously not wanted to debate in a balanced manner do I will leave you to your continued ramping.

It does make me smile when firstly the line from the shorters was that the product isn’t in shops. Then when they are faced with the cold hard truth they bring the amount of products stocked by a smoker focused shop as a problem. 1-2 items selling nah not on your belly. New product cool logo they’ll be selling like hot cakes and the million re order after 6 weeks is all you need to know.
I for one would welcome a reasonable debate on this, there is no doubt the chill brand is stocked we have seen the evidence, I guess people will have their favourite brands and will try something new the real debate is will they buy again. I am a holder and increased in the 40's to reduce my average but still well under water. i followed John Story into this stock as he has served me well with stocks like Escape hunt. I will be happy to see steady progress with increase sales as reported. I honestly think if the product is that good we will be taken out long before we get to 10K or more stores.
It’s not several it’s 100,s in every SF store across Colorado Wyoming Montana Missouri Nebraska Florida and that’s what we know of.
There is definite photo Evidence in all the stores in Colorado Montana Wyoming and Missouri which ain’t several, mister.
Good morning all.
I was hoping that this weekend we could put the ramper/deramper/troll/green issue to one side and have a balanced debate, hopefully for the benefit of all ZOE shareholders???
ToblerRone yesterday posted a link showing several SF stores that are stocking Chill. Thank you Tobler.
It is good that the roll -out is obviously progressing, especially into the SF stores.
However, and this is not a deramp, what was very evident from all those photos was the plethora of brands and products that these stores stock. Obviously all stores are going to have "bestseller products" and also just "products". You would suggest that products that simply do not sell would eventually be removed from the stores rather than taking up valuable shelf space....
It is clear that some posters here are more bullish on how many Chill products these stores will be selling. Most seem to think 4-5 whereas I am currently more cautious (based upon my telephone research at 1-2). So it go me thinking. Having, such a massive range of brands and products, there is no way that these stores can be selling 4-5 items (even 1-2) daily for every brand/product that they stock. If they did, looking at the range stocked, these stores would be a literal goldmine. So my question is, how many sales per day do you think a store would say is acceptable for stocking a brand/product?
Obviously, Chill cabinets (especially if on the counter or even close to it) will hopefully help Chill sales compared to normal "on the shelf" items which easily get lost amongst other products. But putting that aside, any thoughts, from a store perspective, as to how many sales they find acceptable to stock a product (Chill or other)?
Hopefully, we can debate this in a balanced manner. Just a few thoughts for the weekend!
