This chat about salaries seems to be ill-informed to me. Their pay looks very normal for media as far as i can tell. Back in 2011 and 2012 Zinc paid it’s then CEO more than Browning is paid now, and back then the Group lost millions at EBITDA level.
TV is also a notoriously a low margin business, but it attracts good multiples in the acquisition market. There are some very valuable TV companies out there making 2%-3% EBITDA margins, and Zinc is looking closer to 5% this year. Someone will come and knock on Zinc’s door soon, and it will get a good valuation then, if the board can keep hold of the CEO. All3Media was valued at 11x, so i am going to wait until someone bigger comes for Zinc and then we will see its true value
Still losing money, still paying themselves a fortune. Not good value. Just seems low margin and high director salaries with no value for shareholders

If I said to you at double the market cap here I have a stock making £8-12 mil PBT with close to £20 mil net cash generating cash would that not sound better value.
£20 mil market cap here next to £1 mil ebitda...does not come across as value...the management suck out too much of the profits in salaries
Best results for 10 years
Near ATLs
Cash generation well over £1m
Cash over £4m
Mkt cap sub £20m
Absolutely crazy valuation currently
Should be multiples
Nothing really changing, they have amazing ability to grow turnover but struggle to make any real profits. EBITDA is tiny considering. If they did not pay themselves fortunes the company would make a reasonable profit, should be took private by management seeing as it exists to fund their luxury lifestyles
Davey
amazing co, see rns every figure better
mon
I'm note entirely sure what's happing with this stock - I bought 7945 shares today @ 91.8p. - Trades have not been listed.
today 27 sep 97p amazing as before, on way to 140 short term
They are amazing the management here, they can grow the company and do everything except make profits !
No wonder when they pay themselves millions in a small cap business which is disgusting !
Yes that would be me buying £3,000 of stock.
Its just so annoying to buy any stock, I could only do so in £500 to £700 tranches. Hopefully its the MM trying to retain stock pre interims by making life difficult!
I've tried to bang the drum a little!

And another 3.5pc up today.... 26 9 23
Monkey
u right... and when this moves it can move big percentage.. its one below the radar very surprising since the papers wrote it up a while back.
I'm note entirely sure what's happing with this stock - I bought 7945 shares today @ 91.8p. - Trades have not been listed.
There's literally no stock available to buy - the MM is only allowing purchases of 1000 shares.
3.6m cash as at 31/12/2022 and 5.4m as of 4/05/2023 - so free cash flow of 1.8m in 5 months - hopefully this translates to EBITDA!
WTF
140p next after 1/3 retrace
experienced board here, done this before and good with deals
Premium TV and brand-led content label Supercollider, part of Zinc Media, is joining with Idris Elba’s Green Door Pictures and Sabrina Elba’s Pink Towel to make ‘PAID IN FULL: The Battle for Payback (w/t)’ for public broadcasters CBC and BBC. The new series examines the systematic exploitation of Black artists by the music industry and explores what it would look like for Black artists to receive reparations.
Sustain, what contracts are they currently negotiating please, i note share price has moved up 8pc in last couple days
Zinc Media are presenting great news to the markets quite regularly. Great contract wins and bang on trend with fantastic and topical issues. The Midas article did say I think that they were negotiating on many fronts to gain new business, some of which as since been announced. With a small market value and profits beginning to show I have invested for a 2023 gain. Well done to ZM they are a pretty cool outfit imo
Rns mon 22 may ..major contract win
up 7% so far
"This TV production investment could see you turn Zinc Media shares into gold"
Must say something about the state of the UK retail investor and UK microcaps when a weekend MIDAS tip doesn't generate any reaction (until now) on this bulletin board.

Huge contact win today, what a result!
Another excellent contract win worth £2.8mill. Expect positive news with results next month. Still heavily undervalued and overlooked
Noticed explosion in Tv productions on the news today. We surely will be a beneficiary
just watched beechgrove garden on bbc2
