Don't like the look of all those sells. I hope they have nothing to do with the test results we are all waiting for.
The IONA test is going to be a real money spinner for the next financial year and will give us a lot of publicity - good times ahead methinks!
With my glass half full, I reckon it’s just a change of ownership between institutions. If that was an open market sale the SP would’ve been destroyed! It’s not actually a bad discount / SP for the seller so there’s a buyer who is pretty keen to build a stake! You could also argue that if a raise is coming, that the buyer would wait for that and get a better price.
Combined with the 700k trade posted earlier, the trades represent about 3.6% of shares outstanding so we should get a holdings RNS to clarify!
Crikey!
Those enormous trades are sells. 3.2m 6m and 12.2m at 14p, 14p and 13.98p respectively.
Don't m6ch like that as never seen large sells before that were not ahead of some retrace and or weak news or funding. It's usually a sign imv
Very tight actual spread at the moment 14.71p to sell 50k, 14.74p to buy 50k ..
All trades will look like sells given the posted bid / offer 14.50 - 15.00
It’s looking quite resilient ... In the past, any rise was met with a sell off back to the starting point or lower.
It feels like we’re in a different phase now, the BOD delivering growth and confidence returning.
No harm in a tasty RNS though ??
Thanks steve67,
Getting ahead of myself.
Just too enthusiastic I guess.
Sizeable 700k sell, I note today.
15p looking like needing news to get past.
Twix, the 2nd Dec half year report contains this ... it states submissions are expected to be made early in the new year, so hopefully we're close now!
"The development of the Illumina-based IONA® test is progressing well and remains on schedule. Our internal trials have already shown that the product works as expected and with the market leading accuracy that the IONA® test has become well-known for. The technical development of the test is well advanced and the product is going through the final stages of validation and verification testing to produce the data required for regulatory submission and we expect to make regulatory submissions early in the new year. "
Afaik it has been confirmed submitted either in rns or presentation and we are in the process of awaiting approval. That could take months but is underway imv and was expected by end March or possibly shortly after
I think we need some news now to propel us further ahead.
It would be great to have an RNS confirming the Illumina NIPT test has been submitted to the regulators for approval.
