Does anyone still think we will get another offer for the court meeting?
You may get a higher offer on rejection of initial ....the deal needs to be done quickly .. how much is dependant on rejection ....twisting of shareholders will begin stating this is the end game ..... ...Mr rees will go into panic mode pleading his case for shareholders to accept ...for there benefit
Will Ncyt offer a bit more? Maybe they will up it a little bit to get the deal done.
I expect they knew the backlash would occur and maybe expect to have to up the offer. I think if pushed they will offer more hopefully.
I hope we get a better offer as Ncyt will be hugely benefitted with this because their H1 2023 revenue is £3.3m.
So, yourgene revenue will help them strengthen their bottom line as well as topline.
Will they stump up a few more million though?
If the yourgene deal does not happen with Ncyt then their share price will tumble because with 3.3m revenue the current level is not sustainable.
So, NCYT need to close this deal for their long term growth. I hope we get another bidder, so that we can have better offer from either NCYT or another bider.
Tuesday the last day to get your votes in I believe. Should know on Thursday the outcome.
Thursday is the court meeting. If there is another bid then we might get an RNS either today or tomorrow!!
Is it like a lot of purchasing, it's not done and dusted until the funds are banked?
Hope I’m wrong but I just can’t see another bid at this late stage.
Those here prior to the company-saving placing in December have been shafted.
You have to wonder why there hasn’t been any other offer.
I expect the only thing anyone would want is the Ranger stuff. If current customers like AMBRY are happy nothing will change and they all still have access then why buy Ygen? Might be different if Ncyt said Ranger would no longer be available.
If I was making an offer I would wait until the very last minute. Don't want to show your hand too early and possibly get into some sort of auction. As mentioned until the money is banked it's still open to offers isn't it? However does seem a little late in the day I guess!
Tomorrow is the court meeting? Still no news on another offer :(
The only hope is to try and get a bit more out of Ncyt. Doubtful there too, however they can afford to up it a bit. Depends how important they see this deal. Very important I reckon.
No other bidder.
Expect Novacyt confident of getting 75%
Why would they offer more.
Problem is with pathetic Stifel and BOD contentment at deal. No urgency or hunger to press. Sold down the river!
If there are no other bidders and the board fails to get the required 75% vote then the SP will plummet.
All that will happen is the board will recommend a revote and with a lower SP Novacyt might offer less.
If BGF think it's the best deal then I expect the other big shareholders will follow. I expect it will go through first time given the alternative.
Wouldn't be surprised if they make a hash of this sale too.. I think there are many who reckon they will vote against and some are big holders too aCcording to TW. The feeling of Rees walking away laughing at everyone is too much too to take for some, inc myself. We will soon find out.
A bit surprised more are not selling at 0.005p +.. Not much more to gain even if it does go through. There is risk it could go pear shaped too. I have a few left in but have been selling at these levels with my last being 3.4M shares a few minutes ago.
Correction, 3.28M shares sold
Is it tomorrow morning we find out?
Bloody hope so.
We've made every junction a U turn!!
Wouldn't be surprised if Rees ferks this up, just like everything else he touches.
