Magnificent day for holders. Well done (I wish I was one!).
I am not invested here but I offer my congratulations to all PI who hold shares. Regards all
Oh dear! Now I've got to think about what to invest the proceeds in?!?!
Result £1.40
know what's going on here?!
Net funds equivalent to 22p per share. Cash adjusted eps <8. Current divi yield of 4.4% for current year. 25% growth next year on current forecasts. Steady as she goes...
write-up in IC mag. Flat y-on-y this year but 25% growth pencilled in at 9.5p EPS for year ending June 2018. Quarter of current market cap is in cash and progressive dividend policy.
Good to see a contract rns, but numbers just bandied about and no clear indication of revenue to WTM. Message to management: Why bother saying anything if you cant be clear what this means for WTM?
Yes, I read them as being excellent too. Also really like the 50% increase in dividend. One of those buy and forget about type shares as far as I'm concerned.
Waterman is in excellent shape, having reported results which exceed its previously declared financial objectives over the three year period to 30 June 2016 of tripling adjusted annual profit before tax to GBP3.3m, delivering GBP3.6m and increasing Return on Capital Employed to over 20%, delivering 47%
Good news and rise today
good news today in the uk building market... this should help the raise
few bog trades.. buy or sell?
The fundamentals of this company looks amazing. No debt, good cash flow, winning contracts and decent dividend. A part brexit fear , Is anything else that has created such big drop?
brilliant rns "Waterman Group plc ("Waterman" or "the Group"), the engineering and environmental consultancy, today releases its Interim Management Statement for the period from 31 December 2015, being the interim period end, to date. The Group's trading performance has remained in line with the Board's expectations with revenue during the first nine months of the year to the end of March 2016 10% above the prior year period. As a result, the Group remains on target to exceed its previously declared financial objectives to triple adjusted annual profits before tax to £3.3m over the three year period to 30 June 2016. As previously announced, the Board's future aspiration is to increase the Group's adjusted operating profit margin towards 6% by 30 June 2019 compared to the 3.3% delivered in the last financial year ending 30 June 2015. The Board continues to anticipate that the results for the current financial year will show a significant increase in adjusted operating margin, consistent with delivery of this new aspirational target. Cash collection has remained strong and the Board now expects that the Group's net cash at the year end will be above the current market forecast."
Good results & nice rose today. GLA
I'm pleased with them anyway, anyone troubled by them?
On Monday GLA.
Stockopedia always worth a read. This article is from last month. http://www.stockopedia.com/content/small-cap-value-report-14-dec-2015-nxr-wtm-trb-wgb-chrt-boom-114654/ Mostly bailed out of the market last week. Felt I needed time out to reflect. Now considering opportunites with my war chest. WTM remains very much on my watch list. Not sure what the market is going to do generally so I remain cautious Regards CM
Even better (or worse, depending on how you look at it) and bought some more at 84 and a bit pence. Still think this is a good one for the long term - but no guarantees to anyone who thinks I know what I'm doing.
Oooooh. Tempted to top up today. But will it drop another 3p tomorrow??? Decisions Decisions.
I'm looking at holding this investment for the long term as well. BOL.
I'm trying to avoid taking any more "punts" (they so rarely work out - for me at least) so this attracted me as a good investment. Have purchased a small amount so that I stay focused and will/should top up as and when dividends come in on other holdings or I bite the bullet and sell out of some of those non-performing "punts" I've landed myself with.
interesting for a long-term hold, had a punt. GLA.
for the update. I nearly took some profit earlier today, but having seen your info, and having read yesterday, that one of the biggest mistakes of PIs is selling too early on gains, I've decided to stay in fully. ATB to those invested here.
